Quilted Standing Trees {5 Sizes}

Description

Create a beautiful vignette for the holiday season with these simple, yet lovely, Quilted Standing Trees. The trees have a delicate stipple design throughout that gives each tree a nice effect. You can get creative with your materials – I used wool felt, cotton, and burlap. For the burlap option I layered cotton on top and cut the cotton using the appliqué technique so the burlap would extend beyond the cotton. I like the monochromatic look so my sample trees were embroidered with thread within a shade of the fabric or felt that I used. The small cream tree was embroidered using metallic thread for a little shimmer.

The trees come in five sizes that can be used on tiered trays, mantels, table centerpieces and more. Decorate around the bottom with fabric, greenery or garland to make it festive!

Supplies for the trees can be found on Amazon (affiliate links). For the larger trees I used 2-inch diameter slap wooden wheels and 3/8″ by 12″ tall dowels.
